The telepharmacy
operating platform.

Software built to run the whole operation, not just the queue.

Pre-deployment · hardened test environment

Pharmacists in any time zone. Hospitals in any time zone. Everyone works in their own.

PharmLink connects remote pharmacists to hospitals anywhere — queues, schedules, and timelines all render in each party's local time, so coverage follows the clock instead of fighting it.

  1. One unified queue

Every hospital's medication orders flow into a single prioritized work queue. Nothing hides in an EHR window that hasn't had an order in two hours.

  2. Full order context at review

HL7 orders arrive with lab results and patient information attached, so the platform can account for how long each review takes.

  3. Site-specific reference at hand

Each hospital has a reference page — shortages, policies, procedures — so a telepharmacist operates the same as onsite staff.

  4. Timestamped quality oversight

When an order is parked for a physician question, every step is recorded. When review time is questioned, you show the timeline — not reconstruct it from memory.

Five capability areas that work together as one system of record — so scheduling, quality, licensure, and invoicing live inside the platform instead of in spreadsheets around it.

Connect

HL7 per hospital. Connect once — the hospital never reconfigures.

Verify

24/7 unified queue with site reference pages. Every party sees local time.

Prove

Quality events, variances, and a timestamped audit trail, end to end.

Staff

Scheduling, vacation coverage, licensure, training, and competence documentation.

Billing

Billing detail captured at order completion. Invoicing becomes a report, not a project.

PharmLink is built to operate as a HIPAA business associate — security is the architecture, not a feature.

Protected health information is encrypted at the field level, behind multi-factor authentication including passkeys, role-based access control, and session monitoring. Every action lands in a complete, end-to-end audit trail.

Hospitals connect once, over a site-to-site VPN or TLS-encrypted HL7, to a permanent endpoint. Software promotes through isolated environments — develop, test, production — so nothing reaches a live hospital feed unvalidated, and the hospital's connection never changes.

Every system runs under Charter — our governance framework enforcing hard constraints, human judgment above defined thresholds, and transparent audit trails. Built for international deployment, with additional languages added in minutes, not months.

Built by Matthew J. Maughan, PharmD, MHCDS, CPEL, and Thomas Hite, PharmD.

Matthew built and operates the largest independent telepharmacy network in New England. PharmLink is that decade of operating knowledge, written into software — designed from running the loop, not from a product spec.

Tom has worked in and led telepharmacy teams for over twenty years, with deep knowledge of telepharmacy operations and how to run remote teams.

PharmLink, LLC is an independently owned GermPharm company.

The queue is the scaffolding. The operation is the product. The connection is the moat.
